Michael Brown is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; Certified Gottman Therapist, Couples Workshop Leader, Advanced Clinical Trainer, and Consultant; and Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He is in private practice in St. Augustine, Florida. He provides couple, family, and individual therapy. He specializes in Gottman Method Couple Therapy. He also provides Art and Science of Love Weekend Workshops for Couples in Jacksonville, Florida, and in-person and virtual clinical training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy for National Marriage Seminars. He has been a Certified Gottman Therapist since 2014 and an Advanced Clinical Trainer and Consultant since 2018. Prior to starting a private practice eight years ago, Michael worked with children, adolescents, parents, couples, families, and groups for 13 years in community mental health, the last eight with the White Mountain Apache Tribe in Northeastern Arizona in suicide prevention and intervention and substance abuse treatment. He is Spanish-English bilingual and has provided couples therapy, workshops, and clinical training in Spanish.
