Hello, I am looking forward to meeting you! In the meantime, here is a little bit about me. I am a Florida native who grew up in a relatively small town between Tampa and Orlando where I spent 14 years studying classical ballet and modern dance. I was certain that I would be on Broadway one day, but life ended up taking me where I was truly supposed to be and that is helping others. My husband and I have been married over five years and we have a beautiful daughter and two crazy pups. I graduated from Polk State College in 2015 with my Bachelor’s in Business Administration. During my time in undergrad, I took a class called Family Psychology where I discovered my passion for learning about relationships, marriage, and what makes them work. I have always deeply enjoyed helping others and realizing I could make a career out of it drove me to seek further education to become a professional. Fast forward to today, I am a graduate student at Liberty University studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy. I have completed Level 1 training from The Gottman Institute, I’m currently working toward completing Level 2 training, and I’m a certified SYMBIS facilitator. My goal in the next 10 years is to become a Gottman Certified Therapist. I am so passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and I am truly looking forward to walking alongside you in your journey. An important goal of mine is to be present and attuned so that you not only feel heard, but you also feel understood.
